Why Indianapolis Moms LOVE Indy Lactation Care

Local Indianapolis moms are raving about Indy Lactation Care. I’m about to tell you why. When I started my breastfeeding journey it was unintentional. I had planned, as a first-time 19-year-old mother, to pump and feed my children. A kind nurse/lactation consultant in the hospital gently recommended at least trying to breastfeed him and then making a decision. I’m so glad she did. Without her insistence to try something before I said I didn’t want to do it, I might not have breastfed any of my children, missing out on bonding moments I still remember today. While breastfeeding is not for every mother or every child, those looking for gentle guidance, confidence, and continuing resources will value the women behind Indy Lactation Care.

Specialty

Having never used Indy Lactation Care for myself, I am listening to the women who have. They rave about the ease of scheduling, convenience of in-home appointments, incredible support, tips and tricks, and the boost of confidence. After all, I can’t think of anything I needed more after birth than a healthy dose of confidence from my providers. At some point in the post-partum process, we can all start to feel alone and like we don’t know what we’re doing- even if we’ve been there before. A few reviews mention how they felt like the women of Indy Lactation Care became their cheerleaders. If you have more than one child, you know that every breastfeeding journey is different. So, even if you feel like you have a handle on it, don’t be afraid to reach out if things aren’t going exactly as they did before.

Indy Lactation Care

If you’re a first-time or ninth-time mother, you’ll need support if you are contemplating breastfeeding your child. That support can come in a multitude of ways. Most women find that support in their partner but as most of us who have been there know- your partner can only empathize with you so much if they have never breastfed an infant before. Indy Lactation Care offers the very kind of support every parent needs for their breastfeeding journey. Though it sounds simple, breastfeeding can become complicated and if you spend too much time brooding on your questions and in pain it can be hard to see a way through. These four women offer a different path than we’ve known in recent history. If I had to choose lactation support today, I’d choose Indy Lactation Care.
